The best Christmas market in Lisbon 🎄⭐️
Lisbon’s Wonderland is inspired by London’s Winter Wonderland. It is definitely the biggest and the best Christmas market in Lisbon. It opens its gates on the 1st of December and stays till the 1st of January. If you are in the mood for Christmas spirit, lights, flavors, and scents, this is your place!
We decided to check what Barcelona can offer, how the “mercadosde navidad” look like here. We have visited the most common spots, even it was extremely sunny, 18-20 degrees during the day. And given the fact that it’s quite warm during the day, you wouldn’t desire any mulled wine, not like anyone would sell it. It’s a different atmosphere, but of course, it’s enjoyable too.
Bacalao con pasas y piñones – meaning cod with raisins and pinenuts. Whichever way you call it, this dish sums up everything to me that is so good about the Mediterranean diet in a very easy way. It’s delicious, uses a lot of fresh ingredients, is simple to make, fits any healthy diet, is fancy enough for the festive table, and is designed to be flexible depending on what you have at home.
We know, it’s not an easy topic. Usually, every real traveller already has what they need. And the less is always more when we are talking about the space in our backpack for the next holiday. Well, it doesn’t really matter, if we want to give some nice gifts to our traveller friend, regardless it is for Thanksgiving, Hanuka, Santa Claus, Christmas, or even Reyes Magos – these articles are for you!

Moldova is not the place where you should travel for its beauty – as per the standards of the Western world. But instead, finally, you will be able to enjoy something different, learn about the world out there – which is still Europe, and experience something authentic. Chișinău is not for outsiders. Actually, this is the less-visited European capital by tourists. So keep in mind, if you want Paris, go to Paris and don’t complain after. But if you want to visit a historically and presently super interesting and different place, you have it: Moldova.
In our next newsletter, we will continue with the Moldovan topic & we will share more information, tips about Tiraspol and Chisinau as well! Don’t forget to subscribe (above) in order to stay updated!

Majorca, Minorca or Ibiza? If you wonder which is the best of the Balearic Islands to choose here you will be able to find out. As you might have already guessed the answer would depend on the kind of traveler you are. Keep reading and in less than two minutes you will be able to decide which is the best island for you.
You are probably about to discover Debrecen. Keep reading, it’s worth it. Debrecen is the second-largest city in Hungary, just after Budapest, and one of the most important cultural centers in the country. It is located in Hajdú-Bihar County and should be a must-visit in any itinerary around Hungary.
Debrecen is an active and lively city, with street festivals, amazing nightlife, and a host of tourist attractions. It is a very classic-choice city for Erasmus students. The center, old but renovated in a very nice way, with the iconic views of the Szent Anna Székesegyház, its cathedral, while the tram passes is really a delight.
Eger, besides the wine, is a nice and old beautiful town. It is located only 140 kilometers far from Budapest and it is the capital of one of Hungary’s most famous historical wine regions. The old city center is overlooked by a huge castle. And many popular wines know this territory as its homeland and the popular Egri Bikavér, known as well as bull’s blood, got its cradle in it.
We can very much recommend the town for a visit on a city break from Budapest or for a complete weekend in case of wine lover visitors. To stroll around the old center, to climb up to the castle and enjoy the beautiful views, and to end up the day tasting wines. Eger is definitely worth it!
Hungary has a lot of amazing medieval castles. As well as plenty of beautiful palaces. There are all together 103 castles in Hungary alone. Most of which are still open to tourists and visitors. Let’s review here the most well-preserved palaces and the best castles of Hungary.

We can find Empuriabrava in the Gulf of Roses, surrounded by the Natural Park of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. Empuriabrava, the largest residential marina in Europe has some 24 km of navigable waterways. The construction of Empuriabrava started in 1964 and was completed in 1975. The town quickly became a tourist community. Nowadays, the town has more than 40 km of canals and a seasonal, summer population of around 80,000.
We had the chance to visit Calella de Palafrugell in winter. On a sunny day in December. Actually, winter here is like late spring in Eastern Europe. As a result, people can have a bath in the sea even in December. Meanwhile, the terraces are full of people enjoying their tapas, for instance. Certainly, Calella de Palafrugell is tiny. Above all, it’s not much more than a couple of cute streets. But let’s see our complete Calella de Palafrugell guide in detail!

Our top 20 places in 2021 🌏
Travelling was not easy at the beginning of 2021 either. The question and even the opportunity to travel during a pandemic were kind of impossible for the majority. Most of the countries were still in complete lockdown. Borders were closed, therefore we also focused on in-land traveling and kept exploring beautiful Spain. Later, during the year, when some of the borders opened, and the Covid passport finally appeared, we managed to have some very nice travels out of Spain & out of Europe as well. So let’s see the top 20 places that we were able to visit in 2021 during the second year of Covid-19.
Mallorca, the Balearic dream, the idyllic island of everyone’s bucket list, the Mediterranean treasure. We could continue saying nice things about this pearl on the sea, as the list is kind of endless. Regardless of all the over-crowded, and spoiled holiday resorts, Mallorca is still breathtakingly beautiful! We tried to summarise the must-see sites and the unmissable spots for you, so let’s see the perfect weekend itinerary on the island of Mallorca.
Let’s see the best places, coolest activities, and cultural sites to visit during one day in Palma de Mallorca. If you have just one day, this article is for you. We have compiled a list that is possible to complete within one day in Palma de Mallorca. So let’s go!
Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Arabs, Catalans and Aragonese, English, French, and finally Spaniards again… The history of Menorca has been filled with countless cultures that have shaped it as it is. Quiet and beautiful, original and endearing. Stick around and read for a while with us so we are going to show you the best round trip on Menorca.
Menorca is a quite small Spanish island with 97.000 inhabitants. It is situated in the Balearic archipelago, close to Mallorca. Menorca is ideal for relaxing beach holidays along its rugged coastline, rocky coves, and inlets. The island has plenty of small resorts around at the beautiful bays and sandy beaches. Nevertheless, Menorca is not only about beaches. It also has a very important cultural part, like prehistoric settlements, remains of the Talayotic Culture, white villages, and two very interesting towns.
We long for Paris in all seasons. The most popular destination in the world is the French capital. By an average of 20 million tourists visit Paris in a year. The Japanese are also happy to travel here. According to some surveys, at least six million (!) of them per year. Several of them arrive in the city with excessive expectation, and the romanticizing souls eventually leave in a state of shock.
Are you looking for the most Instagrammer spots in Paris? Perfect background for a selfie? Here you have our bucket list of the Paris best photo spots. From the most classic and must-do ones to some alternative places you must go, visit and take pictures of them.
Discover the beautiful Southern France! Carcassone & Toulouse are waiting for you! 🥖
The medieval town of Carcassonne is a fabulous place, it looks like a perfect castle coming right out from a fairy-tale. Carcassonne is best known for La Cité, a double-walled old castle, with massive ramparts and strong fortifications. We had the chance to visit the medieval town of Carcassonne in November 2021, on a long weekend, among a lot of other tourists. Here we are going to share our experiences and recommendations if you are up to get there.
We have spent a couple of days in Carcassone, a place 100% done for tourists, and after it, it was great to see Toulouse, a vivid and real city, so likable and mixed of cultures, with many imprints of history. Let’s see how we spent Toulouse in 1 day! We need to admit that Toulouse is not really a touristy place. There are no world-class monuments or major sites. Nevertheless, it is exactly the reason why we decided to visit the city. Seeking for the less-known, forgotten but still authentic places. To see a city that is not set up for tourists, but only for locals.
Let’s review our latest travel stories, here comes the list of our best-sellers this month 🏅
